Inspired By... Lamorna Birch - Lamorna

Samuel John Birch adopted the name 'Lamorna' after moving to the beautiful hidden valley on the south shore of West Cornwall. Following in the footsteps of the nearby Newlyn School, Birch found fame by painting the wooded valley, river, cove and dramatic cliffs all encompassed in the brilliant clear light.
